Grounding Evidence in the Heart of Connection
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I’ve worked across integrated behavioral health in OB/GYN settings, military psychology, and large-scale medical systems. My training as a clinical psychologist and a trained doula has been shaped in environments where care is both complex and deeply human.

Alongside this clinical path, I’ve lived a life that has kept me close to the kinds of transitions I often sit with in the therapy room, including service, caregiving roles, and periods of stepping outside conventional systems to live more simply and intentionally. These experiences have shaped how I listen, less as an expert observing from a distance, and more as someone who understands what it means to move through change, identity shifts, and uncertainty in real time.

Clients often describe me as steady, grounded, and direct in a way that feels human rather than clinical. I value honesty, warmth, and a collaborative pace. Therapy with me is not about performing wellness. It is about having room to be real, even when things feel messy, uncertain, or in transition.
My work brings together attachment-based psychology, trauma-informed care, and reproductive mental health, but at its core it is relational. I am interested in what becomes possible when people feel met as whole human beings, not as symptoms, roles, or diagnoses.
Integrative Therapy with Trauma-Informed Intervention Offerings
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from well-researched therapies and tailor our work to you. At the core is a modern, evidence-based form of cognitive behavioral therapy that helps you relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions, feel less overwhelmed, and move through life with more flexibility and self-compassion.
This is combined with an attachment-focused and relational perspective, so we gently explore how your experiences—past and present—shape your sense of safety, connection, and identity. We look at the whole picture: your emotions, your body, your relationships, and your story.
Consultations feel like a collaborative, grounded conversation, paced in a way that feels manageable and respectful of where you are. Many clients seek this work for support with trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and the perinatal period.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-supported therapy that helps your brain process and release the impact of distressing or traumatic experiences.
If something from the past still feels present (showing up as anxiety, panic, or emotional overwhelm) EMDR can help your nervous system resolve what feels “stuck,” so those experiences lose their intensity. I have completed EMDR basic training and incorporate EMDR into my work with clients. I am currently working toward certification through the EMDR International Association, with anticipated completion in December.
Child–Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) is a supportive, relationship-based approach that strengthens the connection between caregivers and young children while helping both process stressful or emotional experiences. I incorporate CPP-informed principles in my work with young children and their caregivers and am currently in the rostering process through the Child–Parent Psychotherapy National Training Program. I am also pursuing additional training in perinatal CPP to expand this work to include pregnancy and postpartum support.

I am also trained in Birth Story Listening (2019–2020), a non-clinical approach that creates space for people to share and make meaning of their birth experiences. I weave this into my work as a therapist and trained doula, particularly in early conversations around birth experiences that felt intense, unexpected, or emotionally complicated. While not psychotherapy, it often supports the beginning stages of processing and integration, and can naturally inform deeper therapeutic work around birth-related stress and trauma.
I welcome all families and paths to parenthood, providing gender-affirming and inclusive support for LGBTQIA+ individuals and solo parents.
